Cuairteoirí sa Ghaelscoil
Chuireamar fáilte is fiche roimh Éamonn Ó Riain agus foireann peile na mban agus an fhoireann chamogaíochta . Labhair Aoife Murray linn ar dtús. Ghabh sí buíochas linn as ucht an fháilte mhór a bhfuaireadar sa Ghaelscoil. Is cúis bhrón duinn go léir anois go bhfuil sí eirithe as a bheith ag imirt le foireann Chorcaí. Is Gaeilgeoir í Rena Ní Bhuachalla, agus mhol sí dos na páistí leanúint ar aghaidh leis an spórt. Lig na páisti beic ollmhór astu nuair a thug Éamonn Ó Riain obairbhaile saor do gach duine. D'inis sé do na páisti cé comh tabhachtach é bía slántúil a ithe. Is leor uair sa tseachtain rud milis a ithe. Éamonn Ryan and members of the Victorious Cork Ladies Football and Camogie teams visited the Gaelscoil. They brought with them the BrendanMartin Cup and The O Duffy Cup. Aoife Murray, who has now retired from inter county camogie, addresed the children. She thanked them for the wonderful welcome and admitted that she and other members of the team especially enjoy visiting the schools. Rena Buckley, who spoke to the children in Irish, stressed the importance of playing sport, any sport! She has made wonderful life long friends from playing football and camogie. Rena and team mate Briege Corkery each have 16 All Ireland Medals. This is a wonderful achievement and we in Gaelscoil na Dúglaise congratulate them. Éamonn Ryan, (Múinteoir Dons' father) spoke to the children on the importance of eating healthy food. Once a week is sufficient for a treat. Before our visitors left us, the children were rewarded with a Home Work Free night. Corcaigh ABÚ.
